At FlavourJoy we have always made customer safety our highest priority. From the start we have implemented strict protocols to ensure that the product going out to our customers will not endanger their health.

With the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping the world, we have extended these strict protocols to our shipping operation.

Some of the measures implemented include quarantining of all incoming stock, including the shipping satchels we use, for a period of one week before we may access them. The COVID-19 virus can persist on surfaces for up to 3 days, depending on the type of surface, so we want to ensure we do not import the virus into our operation from the outside.

Packaging for shipping operations have been moved into our mixing and filling operation to ensure that there is no chance of contamination of the bottled product during the packaging process.

We are confident that the product going out to the courier is virus-free, including the courier satchel. However, like any packet you may bring in from any store you have no assurance that during the handling process the packet may not have been contaminated somewhere along the line.

If you are concerned about this, we recommend that upon receiving the satchel you cut it open, dump the contents out without touching it (there is nothing in there that will be damaged), dispose of the satchel and wash your hands with soap before handling the product.
